Last but never the least, Triphala comprises of three plants, namely Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki. Most popularly dubbed as Triphala churna or powder, the concoction is believed to aid digestion and support bowel health in addition to being a powerful antioxidant. Some research even suggests that rinsing your mouth with Triphala can take care of gingivitis, plaque, sores and fatigue. It may also help treat certain skin conditions due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. You can have it with some warm water and honey as a tea.
