The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh issued a statement on Wednesday stating that it has shifted its Haridwar meeting, while appealing to maintain peace in run-up to the Ayodhya verdict. The Sangh put speculation to rest that it has cancelled all meetings in the run-up to the Ayodhya verdict. Arun Kumar of the RSS said the meeting scheduled from October 30 to November 5 in Haridwar is now being held in Delhi. The meeting is slated to take up issues pertaining to the Ram Janmabhoomi. Meanwhile, the Sangh has also urged every section of society to maintain communal amity and ‘cordial atmosphere’, regardless of the verdict.
