Assam recorded it first coronavirus case on Tuesday. A 52-year-old cleric, who had recently visited Delhi, has tested positive. The cleric, who runs a madarsa in Karimganj district, had also visited the Nizamuddin area of the Capital. He, however, did not attend the religious gathering that has emerged as a virus hotspot, reports said. The cleric's two sons had also accompanied him to Delhi. All six members of their family have been quarantined.
