Arvind Kejriwal: 13,500 new cases in a day, 4th wave of Covid much more dangerous

Apr 13, 2021 14:33 IST | By Editorji News Desk

A fresh surge of 13,500 Covid cases, the highest single-day spike so far pushed Delhi's caseload to 7,36,788, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday.

During a video address, he reiterated that the fourth wave of coronavirus gripping the national capital is much more dangerous, stating that even at the peak of third Covid wave in November, Delhi had seen a single-day surge of 8,500 cases.

‘Youth and children are getting affected amid the fourth wave’ Kejriwal said and once again urged residents to not step out of homes unless absolutely necessary.
