New York-based artist Jason Polan, who tried to sketch everyone in the city, as part of an ambitious project, died at the age of 37 on the 27th of January. According to the New York Times, he lost his battle to cancer. His project began in 2008 and he shared in his blog titled 'Every person in New York' that he would be drawing people everyday and they may not even know it. He would then feature the drawing on his blog. His last sketch was "Man at Taco Bell" and was dated December 16, 2019.
