Amid rumours that Centre would abolish Article 35-A, which gives special rights to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti has sought help from National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah to present a united front. In a tweet, Mehbooba said that she has asked Farooq Abdullah to call an all-party meet to discuss future course. In response, the NC patron has said that he will call the meeting of different political parties and has also sought time from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the situation in Kashmir.
