In an interview to the Times of India, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has said that the LOC will be 'sacrosanct' so long as Pakistan does not violate the ceasefire. Referring to surgical strikes, Rawat said there would be no more 'hide and seek' and if India has to enter Pakistan, they will do so through land, air, or both. Blaming Pakistan for using terrorism in a proxy war against India, he also rubbished Pakistan's claim of using nuclear weapons in conventional war, saying the international community would never sanction it.
