Deliveries of the Aprilia SXR 160 have begun across India, just days after the new scooter was launched in the country priced at Rs. 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The SXR 160 is the newest maxi-styled scooter to go on sale in India in over a decade and packs a bold design with large panels and a larger capacity 160 cc engine that develops 10.8 bhp and 11 Nm of peak torque. The scooter has been designed for enhanced comfort and cruising and come features like a twin LED headlamps with DRLs, digital instrument console, single-channel ABS, lockable glovebox with USB charging and optional Bluetooth connectivity. The SXR 160 does not have a direct rival in the segment at the moment.
