American tech giant Apple has set a new quarterly record for sales in India, as announced by CEO Tim Cook on a recent earnings call. While Apple has not disclosed any sales figures for the September quarter, it's worth noting that the record sales numbers were achieved despite supply constraints, and amid a global slump in iPhone sales. Tim Cook also pointed out that Apple's online store, launched in India last month, saw a "very strong reception".
