Apologise for littering village: Goa govt to KJo's production house

Oct 28, 2020 20:57 IST

The BJP government in Goa has asked director-producer Karan Johar's Dharma Productions to tender an unconditional apology for littering a village in the state during one of their recent film shoots. According to a report in PTI, the Goa government said if the company fails to issue an apology a fine would be imposed on them. Reportedly governments issued the directive after the residents of Nerul village in North Goa uploaded videos showing the waste, dumped in their village by the crew of an upcoming Deepika Padukone film.
