Amit Shah asks for report on MLA's bat assault

As the BJP is facing embarrassment over its MP MLA and son of senior party leader Kailash Vijayvarhiya's assault on a civic officer this week, party chief Amit Shah has reportedly sought a report on the incident. Shah has asked for the sequence of events that led to Indore MLA Akash Vijayvargiya thrashing an officer with a bat in full public view. Reports said that party will take final required action after examining the facts of the case. Akash Vijayvargiya is currently in judicial custody.
