Amazon wants a bite of Uber Eats : reports

Amazon’s India business is reportedly in talks for a possible buyout of the local unit of Uber Eats. While discussions are in initial stages, a possible strategic alliance could also be explored. Uber has declined to comment on the subject but source based input suggests Uber Eats is likely to consider a valuation of $300 million. Earlier, Swiggy was reportedly in talks with Uber Eats for a possible acquisition but the two companies could not conclude the deal over the issue of valuation and other concerns.
