Karnataka High Court on Tuesday refused to stay proceedings initiated against actor Kangana Ranaut over her tweets against farmers' protests. Reports are the bench headed by justice HP Sandesh directed the Police to file an FIR against the actor for her tweets on farmers' law. The report adds the court will now hear the matter on March 18. Kangana also expressed her dismay saying those who spread lies about the bills & cause riots face no consequences. Courts decision came after Ranaut moved the high court, seeking to quash the FIR filed against her by the Tumkuru police last year.
