Public-lender Allahabad Bank on Tuesday reported a ₹1,986 crore net loss during the third quarter of FY20, due to higher provisioning. The bank reported ₹732 crore net loss for the same period of the previous financial year. Gross NPA ratio stood at 18.93% during the quarter as against 17.81% as on December 31, 2018. Net NPA significantly reduced to 5.13% from 7.70%. The lender's provisions increased to ₹3,092.54 crore from ₹1,495.37 crore made during the same period of the previous financial year.
