In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to shun single-use plastic, his party BJP has replaced plastic water bottles with glass jars at party headquarters in Delhi. When the Prime Minister and other top BJP functionaries met for a Central Election Committee meeting on Sunday, you could only see glass jars instead of plastic bottles on the table. During his 'Mann ki Baat' address earlier in the day Modi had underlined the need to protect the environment.
