5-time World Champion Viswanathan Anand is finally coming home after spending close to 3 months stuck in Germany. The former World number 1 was in Germany to play in a league but got stuck due to the lockdown. His attempts to return home were further delayed when the government of India imposed a travel ban. According to a report in the Time of India, the 50-year-old will travel from Frankfurt to Bengaluru soon and will undergo a 14 day quarantine period once he lands. Soon after that, he will be allowed to travel to Chennai and reunite with his family.
