It's advantage Yediyurappa in Karnataka Assembly after disqualification of Congress and JDS rebels by the Speaker. With the disqualification of a total of 17 MLAs, the effective strength of Assembly is down to 208 from 225. That brings down majority mark to 104, giving the BJP with 105 MLAs a clear edge. The losers in this whole episode are the Congress, JDS rebels who were hoping get plum posts in the new BJP govt. They are now likely to move the Supreme Court against their disqualification.
