Including a wholesome amount of Vitamin A in your diet could help in reducing the risk of skin cancer, finds a new study conducted by Brown University researchers. Vitamin A is available in sweet potato, cantaloupe, carrots, broccoli, spinach, dairy foods, fish and meat, especially liver. Conducted on over 125,000 Americans, the study found that a 15% lower risk in squamous cell skin cancer in people with the highest intake of Vitamin A. Published in the journal JAMA Dermatology, the study pointed out that the most of the Vitamin A consumed was foods.
