The Mumbai police has filed an FIR against actor Aditya Pancholi, based on the statement of a popular Bollywood actress. The actress' sister reportedly filed a plea at Mumbai's Versova police station in April, alleging that Pancholi had assaulted and exploited her sister a decade ago. Aditya Pancholi had also filed a counter-suit of defamation against the actress and her sister. A Mumbai court had recently issued summons to the actor and her sister related to the defamation case that Pancholi had filed in 2017.
