Google Drive for iPhone, iPad get Touch ID and Face ID protection

Google has rolled out a new “Privacy Screen” feature that allows Google Drive users on iOS and iPadOS to use passcodes or biometric authentication to protect their files. The feature uses Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode authentication whenever a user tries to open the app. It activates even when switching between apps, however, there’s an option to delay it by 10 seconds, 1 minute, or 10 minutes to make multitasking easier.
