Japan takes no. 2 spot as China slips

Japan has dethroned China as the world's number 2 trade market amid the ongoing trade war between the US and China. Chinese equities slipped to $6.09 trillion while Japanese equities are valued at $6.17 trillion. China's stock market had overtaken Japan's in late 2014.
