Eight Indonesian Islamic preachers, who attended a religious congregation early this month at Nizamuddin, were on Tuesday found staying at a mosque in Bijnor and were picked up by the police. All eight have been sent to an isolation centre in the district. According to the SP of Bijnor, it appears that after attending the religious congregation, they first visited Odisha after which they returned to Bijnor. District Health officials are also now taking steps to sanitise the Bijnor mosque and other places they visited.
