A seventh grade student from Aurangabad, Sai Suresh Rangdal has designed a robot for contactless delivery of medicines and food to patients. The robot named 'Shourya' can carry items weighing up to 1 kilo. It is battery-operated and it can be controlled via a smartphone device. It moves forward, backward, and 360-degrees right and left! Sai's aim was to reduce the risk of transmission of the Covid-19 virus by avoiding contact with patients. Due to the unavailability of certain items, he used old gadgets to make the robot.
