A team of Archaeologists and scientists led by Australia's Griffith University discovered a cave painting in Indonesia and it is believed to be around 44000 years old. Dubbed as the oldest ever cave painting that depicts a story, the red images on the cave in Sulawesi island show human-animal-like figures. The supernatural human figures appear to be hunting some wild pigs and a local buffalo with spears. The painting, the scientists believe, could throw light on early human creativity and understanding. The study, published in the journal Nature, suggests that the painting is in poor condition and reveals information on early spirituality.
