In an unfortunate incident, a 40-foot long fin whale, believed to be a juvenile, washed up dead on a beach in southeast England on Friday. Authorities have urged locals to keep away from the beach to avoid the risk of infection. The British Divers Marine Life Rescue charity said that the whale appeared small for the species. The endangered fin whale is the second-largest mammal in the world after the blue whale.
