3 races in MotoGP calendar cancelled

Aug 01, 2020 12:36 IST

The 2020 MotoGP season will have 14 races as the competitions in Argentina, Malaysia and Thailand have been cancelled. The three races were earlier postponed due to the global pandemic but the organisers confirmed that the races are now cancelled. As a result, an extra race in the European leg of the competition is likely to take place with Portugal looking set to host the competition in November. The global sports calendar has taken a major hit due to the Coronavirus pandemic this year and MotoGP has now officially lost 3 races.
