A new study published in the journal Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism reveals that even a 20-second exercise ‘snack', every few hours in the day, could improve overall fitness. A bout of stair-climbing for 20 seconds is liked even by individuals with a sedentary lifestyle and can improve overall performance. The study encourages people to understand that fitness isn't only synonymous with going to the gym, it could be something as easy as climbing up a flight of stairs.
