A case of a 10-year-old boy, from Shenzhen in China, diagnosed with coronavirus is raising fears that the virus could spread without getting detected. The boy was detected with the virus without showing any symptoms. His parents and grandparents fell ill and were treated, but the boy appeared to be healthy. He was only diagnosed with the virus after his parents insisted that he should be tested too. His doctors said that he "was shedding virus without symptoms." Experts indicate that there might mild disease spreaders that could be feeding a community outbreak. The boy's case was published in the Lancet medical journal and was the first to demonstrate person-to-person spread of the newly identified coronavirus.
