9-time Champion Novak Djokovic booked his place in the third round of the Australian Open with a 6-1, 6-7. 6-2 6-0 win over Enzo Couacaud of France.

Despite a medical time-out, Djokovic overcame his ongoing hamstring issue to battle through in 3 hours and 4 minutes.

Couacaud, the world number 190, did manage to take the second set in a tie-break but Djokovic played the key points well to set up a 3rd round clash with the 27th seed, Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov.
