Hardik will be given time to recover and won't be replaced as the FIH tournament regulations state that if an injured player from the 18 man squad is replaced by a reserve player in the tournament then the player is ineligible to return in the future games.

Indian hockey team's attacking midfielder Hardik Singh has been reportedly ruled out of India's last Pool D game against Wales due to a hamstring injury he suffered during India's second game against England on Sunday.

Hardik will be given time to recover and won't be replaced as the FIH tournament regulations state that if an injured player from the 18 man squad is replaced by a reserve player in the tournament then the player is ineligible to return in the future games.
