Premier League: Arsenal's grand win over Chelsea & Man City thrash Brighton

Three 2nd half goals from Manchester City helped them thrash Brighton to regain the top spot in the Premier League points table 

Edward Nketiah put Arsenal back in the hunt for the Champions League spot after a grand 4-2 win over Chelsea pushed them into the 5th place on the Premier League points table. The London Derby at Stamford Bridge saw Arsenal take the lead twice but Chelsea managed to equalise on both occasions as both teams went to the halftime break at 2-2.

The 2nd half saw better control from the visitors as Edward Nketiah put the Gunners ahead before the hour mark. While Chelsea pushed for an equaliser, Arsenal found the back of the net as Bukayo Saka converted a penalty to win the match 4-2. The win ensures that Arsenal is level on points with 4th placed Tottenham and 3 points ahead of 6th placed Manchester United who has played a game more.

Meanwhile, Manchester City regained the top spot in the Premier League with a stunning 3-0 win over Brighton. Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva scored a goal each in the 2nd half which helped Man City win 3-0 and knock off Liverpool from the top of the points charts. City has a slender 1 point lead on top of the table as both teams have 6 games each left to prove their worth before the season ends.
