The Champions League winners, Real Madrid have signed Antonio Rudiger from the Premier League club Chelsea on a free transfer, both the clubs confirmed on Thursday.

The German Footballer would be signing a 4-year-long contract with the La Liga club as his contract with Chelsea is nearing the end.

A presentation ceremony for the 29-year-old who was a key player for Chelsea will be held on June 20th, La Liga said. Rudiger joined the English club in 2017 from the Italian side AS Roma.I am super excited for all the challenges ahead and can't wait to play my first game for the huge club, Rudiger said in a Tweet.

Rudiger who has played over 200 matches for Chelsea has won Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup with the Blues. He has 50 international Caps for Germany since his debut in 2004.
