England and Sussex seamer Jofra Archer has been ruled out for the entire season after being diagnosed with a stress fracture to the lower back. Archer hadn't played for England for more than a year after suffering an elbow injury last year and had hoped to make his comeback for Sussex vs Glamorgan on May 26 in the T20 Blast.
ECB issued a statement on Thursday, "No timeframe has been set for his return. A management plan will be determined following further specialist opinion over the coming days."

In a chat with India.com, the pacer said that he is ready for whatever responsibility is given to me. Shami though questioned that who doesn't want to captain the India team? However, he said that it's not the only thing and he was looking to contribute in whichever manner possible for the team. 
Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar had earlier said that India would consider a fast bowler to lead the side in Tests and according to him, Jasprit Bumraha was a good choice.
