Both the Tamil Nadu middle-order batter along with the spinner who were a part of the TN Ranji squad have been added as a part of BCCI's contingency plan for the 3-match ODI series and 3-match T20I series against the Windies. 

Keeping in mind the ongoing 3rd wave of Covid-19, BCCI has added M Sharukh Khan and R Sai Kishore as by-standers for the Indian squad for the upcoming West Indies series which is set to begin from 6th Feb in Ahmedabad.

Both the Tamil Nadu middle-order batter along with the spinner who were a part of the TN Ranji squad have been added as a part of BCCI's contingency plan for the 3-match ODI series and 3-match T20I series against the Windies.

Confirming the development on Saturday, a BCCI source told The Times of India that the Indian board wants to have all its bases covered amidst the ongoing 3rd wave. Sai Kishore will be a good handy bowler in the nets too, he added.

Meanwhile, no replacements have been announced for the Tamil Nadu Ranji team.
