India tour of England: Rohit Sharma's men shift focus to ODIs as the hosts get reinforcements

India may have won the T20I series but history favours England as the Men in Blue have lost all of their last 3 ODIs in England

After winning the T20I series 2-1, Team India will look to take their good form in the 50-over format as well as Rohit Sharma's men take on England in the 1st ODI at the Kennington Oval on Tuesday.

With the selection committee once again investing their trust in Shikhar Dhawan in the ODI set-up, the dynamic duo of Rohit and Dhawan is likely to be reunited. All eyes though will still be on an under-the-pump Virat Kohli, whose slump in form has raised many eyebrows.

However, the 50-over format will give him a good opportunity to get his eye in and try and find his mojo back. Hardik Pandya also makes an ODI return while Mohammed Shami is likely to get a go-ahead in the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Though India look like a formidable unit the hosts also have reinforcements as a dangerous trio of Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root return to the English squad. Moreover, the Three Lions will also take heart from the fact that India has lost all of its last 3 ODIs in England.
