IND VS SA: Tickets for the 1st T20 in New Delhi almost sold out

Delhi is hosting the first match of the 5 T20I matches series and this is the first time since November 2019 that an international match is being held in Delhi.

The first T20 between India and South Africa is set to be a sellout as 94 per cent of tickets have been already sold at the 35,000 capacity Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium. Around 27,000 tickets were put up for the sale.

DDCA joint secretary Rajan Manchanda told PTI, "94 per cent of the tickets have been sold. There are about 400-500 tickets left."

Arun Jaitley stadium, Delhi will be hosting the first match of the 5 T20I matches series and this is the first time since November 2019 that an international match is being held in Delhi.

Manchanda further said that for the convenience of fans and to improve the fan experience, senior citizens will have the option to use a golf cart to enter the stadium. DDCA joint secretary also requested the fans to adhere to COVID protocols and wear masks at all times.

India and South Africa are set to play 5 matches T20I series from June 9-19.
