Yamaha YZF-R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition

India Yamaha Motor has launched the YZF-R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition. The special edition model is priced at Rs. 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The special edition version marks the company’s association with the premier series of motorcycle road racing since 1961. The model pays tribute to Yamaha’s passion for racing over the past 60 years. The R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition comes with the iconic white and red ‘speed block’ colour scheme with gold alloy wheels, Yamaha factory race-bike gold Tuning Fork emblems, black levers and special commemorative badging on the Fuel Tank. Furthermore, Yamaha has also launched the MT-15 Version 2.0 priced at Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated MT-15 gets inverted front forks, a new MotoGP inspired aluminium swingarm and a new digital instrument console. The naked offering carries over the same 155 cc engine from the older version with a 6-speed gearbox and an Assist and Slip clutch. The updated MT-15 V2.0 gets two new colours and has seen a price hike of about Rs. 10,000 over the older version.
