The SUV also features the Monte Carlo badge on the front fender. Inside, the Kushaq Monte Carlo comes with red accents on the dashboard, centre console and door panels. The seats get new dual-tone red and black Leatherette upholstery with 'Monte Carlo' lettering on headrests, and red stitching on the armrests. FADA also warned that long waiting period for passenger vehicles due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, and China under lockdown, which would further disrupt the supply crunch as semiconductor shortage along with high metal prices and container shortage prevails. The sluggish growth could further be slowed down due to RBI's move of increasing the repo rate by 40 bps, which came in unexpectedly earlier this week.

A highly popular name in the Indian auto sector, the Hyundai Santro made the Korean brand popular in its first innings when it first went on sale in 1998. However, the model's resurrection in 2018 did not see the same kind of demand as the automaker would&rsquo;ve hoped for. The hatchback averaged about 1,500-2,000 units per month, which is low for a volume-friendly offering. It now seems Hyundai has decided to pull the plug on the Santro in order to consolidate resources and minimise supply chain constraints. Hyundai dealers did confirm to carandbike about the development and showrooms are only accepting bookings till stocks last. carandbike has reached out to Hyundai for an official statement and will update as and when the company responds.

It now seems Hyundai has decided to pull the plug on the Santro in order to consolidate resources and minimise supply chain constraints. Hyundai dealers did confirm to carandbike about the development and showrooms are only accepting bookings till stocks last. carandbike has reached out to Hyundai for an official statement and will update as and when the company responds.

Keeway is owned by China's QJ Group, the same company that also owns Benelli. The Hungarian brand will operate under the management of Benelli in India. The company will announce prices for its upcoming offerings by next week while deliveries will begin by the end of the month. The company plans to launch 5 more two-wheelers by the end of the year. The Keeway motorcycles and scooters will be sold at Benelli dealerships at the onset, while the brand will eventually have its own dealer network.

With respect to the KTM offerings, the 200 Duke and the RC 200 get a price hike of Rs. 1,472 respectively. The entry-level KTM RC 125 is now dearer by Rs. 1,600 and the KTM 250 Adventure has seen a price increase of Rs. 2,048. The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and the Svartpilen 250 also get a price hike of Rs. 2,048 each. The rising input costs of raw materials and the semiconductor chip shortage have forced two-wheeler makers to hike prices substantially this year and the KTM Group brands join the likes of TVS, Yamaha, and Royal Enfield, among others, who hiked prices since the beginning of the current financial year. All motorcycles continue with the same specifications with no changes to the hardware or on the cosmetic front.

The updates have been introduced for both the standard and extended-wheelbase versions of the Phantom Series II. Upgrades include a dark chrome finish on the Pantheon Grille, which is now illuminated as well. The headlights get laser-cut bezel starlights for a sparkly look, while you now get the optional retro-styled alloy wheels, which are a nod to the disc wheels of the 1920s. The cabin remains largely unchanged but you do get a thicker steering wheel, along with the option to order fabric upholstery for the rear seats as part of the Phantom Platino. Additionally, the 2023 Phantom Series II comes with 'Rolls-Royce Connected', featuring a range of connected car technology. The system enables the owner to send an address directly to the motor car from the Whispers mobile app. Power continues to come from the 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine paired with an 8-speed, satellite-aided transmission. Bengaluru-based Ather Energy has announced that the company raised $128 million or about Rs. 992 crore in the latest Series E round of funding. The latest investment round was led by National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Limited's Strategic Opportunities Fund, along with Hero MotoCorp, one of the early investors in the electric two-wheeler maker. Hero MotoCorp already has a 34 per cent stake in Ather Energy. Ather says the funding will be used to expand its manufacturing facilities, invest in research and development, charging infrastructure and grow its retail network. Ather is in the process of opening its second manufacturing facility, while the company also plans to introduce two new variants of the 450X later this year. Ather is also aiming to begin exports from its facility and plans to establish 150 outlets in 100 cities by 2023 across India.
