The new C-Class is being locally assembled at Mercedes' Chakan facility and bookings have been open since April 13 for a token amount of Rs. 50,000. The new C-Class will go on sale on May 10 and will be offered in 3 variants - C 200, C 200d and the top-sped C300d. The all-new C-Class mimics the new-generation S-Class in design. The cabin also takes inspiration from the new S-Class with the 11.9-inch touchscreen display for the second-generation MBUX infotainment system. The new C-Class will be step up in every way with the car getting both petrol and diesel engine options. The model will compete with the BMW 3 Series, Volvo S60, Audi A4 and the likes in the segment.

German auto giant Audi completes 15 years in India and to celebrate the occasion, the automaker has announced all of its cars sold from June 1 will come with a 5-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty as standard. The new warranty cover is only valid on all models sold till the end of the year. Audi previously offered a standard 2-year warranty with the option to buy an extended warranty for up to 5 years at additional cost, which is now part of the standard package. The warranty covers any repair or replacement of component failures. Audi began operations in India in 2007 and has a wide portfolio from performance to electric luxury offerings.
