Both wrestlers fail to earn any point in the first 30 seconds. Deepak earns four points after a takedown But Pakistan challenges the decision and they won, only two points were awarded to Deepak.
In the final minutes of the first round, both the wrestler is trying to earn some points and the Pakistani wrestler earns two points while one for Deepak of India.

Deepak starts with an ultra-aggressive approach in the second round. He takes 7 points lead upfront with a triple gut range move.
Deepak lifts the Pakistani wrestler over his head and earns a single point. Deepak Nehra wins a Bronze medal.

South Africa earn second penalty corner in span of three minutes but on both occasions India defend that successfully.

1st round
Pooja comes up with the first move and tries to pin the opponent. She wins two points first then four more points for a gut range move.
At the brink of the first round, Pooja earns two more points.
2nd round
The Australian is trying to earn some points at the start of the 2nd point but Pooja is defending brilliantly. She finally pushes the opponent out of the playing area to attain two more points.
Pooja Sihag wins a Bronze
At the end of the second quarter, India shed the disappointment of the first one and take a two-goal lead thanks, to Abhishek and Mandeep Singh's brilliant effort on the field.
However, India need to be aware of South Africa's counter-attacking moves in the remaining two quarters.

The Pakistan wrestler trying to make a leg attack but Naveen is not giving him that opportunity.

Sri Lankan wrestler, who has nothing to lose, takes an aggressive approach but Vinesh gets 4 points for a takedown. Then she pins her opponent after being in that position for more than 40 seconds. Finally, the referee taps the mat to declare, that Phogat wins her third consecutive Gold medal at Commonwealth Games.
If the number of participating wrestlers in a competition is less than six then Nordic System is applied. Vinesh Phogat has 10 points in the Nordic System classification round. She only needs to defeat the Sri Lankan wrestler to clinch a Gold medal.
Ravi Dahiya (India) Vs Ebikewenimo WELSON (Nigeria) --- Gold medal match
1st round
Both wrestlers are gauging each other in the initial seconds.
Ravi Dahiya neutralises the Nigerian wrestler's leg hold move.
Dahiya first takes two points for takedown and then earns six consecutive points. With 44 seconds left in the first round, Ravi Dahiya again earns two points takedown.
Dahiya clinches Gold by technical superiority.

Both wrestlers are gauging one other and the Scottish wrestler takes two points for a takedown.

After 30 seconds of play in the 2nd round, Pooja earns two more points for a takedown and wins Bronze on technical superiority.
The Indian pair of Reeth Tennison and Sreeja Akula lose their quarterfinal fixture.

Nikhat wins her semi-final bout 5-0 by a unanimous decision. At least a Silver assured for India in Women's 48kg-50kg category.

Round 2
Nikhat again starts with an aggressive approach but Stubley gets into the clinch position and the referee has to intervene.
The English boxer is not able to land punches on the target and keeps getting into the clinch position on most occassions.
Nikhat wins the second round a unanimous decision.

1st round
Nikat Zareen takes an aggressive approach from the start and lands some good punches on target. Zareen lands a combination of punches on target, she is unleashing some good hooks.
It seems Nikhat will win the first round by a unanimous decision. And yes she does, she takes 5-0 after first round

The Indian men's four team settle for a Silver after they face a 5-18 defeat from Northern Island.
The Indian pair of Abhay Singh and Velavan Senthilkumar bow out in the quarterfinals as they lose the match 8-11, 8-11 against Malaysia's NG Eain Yow and YUEN Chee Wern.
India's Aakarshi Kashyap fails to extend her winning run in her debut Commonwealth Games. She fails to overcome the challenge of third seed Kirsty Gilmour of Canada in the quarterfinals. She loses her last 8 fixture 10-21, 7-21.

In a humdinger, Indian paddlers show great grit and resilience to book a place in the final. In the 3rd game, Sathiyan received a yellow card followed by a heated exchange between the Indian paddler and the chair umpire. That time, it felt India, who were trailing in the game, would lose their composure. But India's world-class came from behind and won their semifinal fixture 8-11, 11-9, 10-12, 11-1, 11-8 against Australia's LUM Nicholas and LUU Finn.

Sreeja Akula came close to confirming a medal but in the end, Singapore's Tianwei Feng prevails and qualifies for the women's singles final. Sreeja loses her semifinal 3-4 (6-11, 11-8, 11-6, 9-11, 8-11, 11-8, 10-12).
Sreeja will now play for the bronze.
After a slow start, PV Sindhu comes back strongly to win the second game 21-14. However, she gets a stiff challenge from Malaysia's Jin Wei Goh in the third and final set. The game goes down to the wire and Sindhu shows why she is a world-class player and clinched the final set 21-18.

Pooja Gehlot earns two points at the start of the second round but concedes two points as well.
The Canadian boxer earns two more points as she throws Pooja out of the playing area. Pooja loses the semifinal match as he takes an ultra-aggressive approach and concedes 4 points in the last nine seconds.
