Halloween celebrated on October 31st, is a spooktacular holiday known for its ghoulish costumes, haunted houses, and a delightful dose of candy treats. It's a time when the boundary between the living and the supernatural blurs, making way for a night of eerie fun and festivities.

Hotel Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai

Indeed, as astonishing as it may sound, it holds true. Even one of the country's most renowned and opulent hotels has its share of ghostly tales. According to legend, the hotel's architectural design, approved by WA Chambers, fell short of his expectations, leading to a tragic decision. He took his own life by leaping from the hotel's 5th floor. It is said that his spirit continues to wander the corridors of the older wing, occasionally making ghostly visits to both the staff and guests.

Hotel Savoy Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Mussoorie

This charming hotel located on the fringes of Mussoorie served as the inspiration for Agatha Christie's debut novel, 'The Mysterious Affair at Styles.' While the murder mystery in the book was neatly resolved, real-life events took a different turn. The enigmatic death of Lady Garnett, an English spiritualist, within the premises, remains shrouded in mystery, and her spirit is believed to linger in the corridors, seeking answers to her demise. Following a series of unsettling incidents, the hotel remained shuttered for many years until 2009, when the ITC group took ownership and reopened the establishment.

Hotel Brij Raj Bhawan Palace, Kota

This place dates to the 19th century and was built in 1830. With beautiful royal architecture and grandeur, it attracts many tourists from across the world, but is also known to be haunted by the spirit of a British major who lived with his family and was killed during the Sepoy Mutiny in 1857.
