What could be more soothing than a chilled glass of buttermilk in summers? Chaas or buttermilk is India's most popular summer drink made with yogurt, herbs and spices. Buttermilk is cool, refreshing and healthy for the digestive system, loaded with calcium and minerals.

Here's an easy buttermilk recipe you must try at home. Take a look!

Ingredients

1 cup curd
1 tbsp coriander leaves
2 tsp green chilies
roasted cumin powder
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp black salt
1/2 cup water
a pinch of chaat masala

Method

  • In a bowl, add black salt and salt along with curd, coriander leaves and green chilies and mix well
  • Now, add water to it and blend the mixture well in the blender
  • Take out the mixture in a glass and garnish it with a pinch of chaat masala and coriander leaves
