Students at a college in Karnataka's Shivamogga sprinkled cow urine around the campus to what they called "purifing" the place after actor Prakash Raj visited the institution.

Raj participated in an event at the Kasthe MV College and students held a protest, questioning why a private event was held inside the college.

Barricades were put up outside the college to prevent the protesters from entering, leading to a heated argument between them and the police.

Prakash Raj is a vocal critic of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government.
