Commending the School’s Contribution

Extending his congratulations, the Chief Minister highlighted the significant role the school has played in promoting education in the region since its establishment shortly after independence. Applauding Principal Dr. Ravindra Kumar Saini’s 35 years of dedicated service, he remarked, "the students taught by him are achieving success in various fields across the country."

A Role Model for ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’

He especially praised the school’s initiative to educate girls from underprivileged families, describing it as a powerful step towards societal progress. "This effort is bringing positive change in the society," he noted.

He also added that over 20,000 youth have secured government jobs transparently during this period.

Education and Culture as Pillars of Progress

He underscored the importance of moral and academic education, stating, "only education and culture make a person eligible for the country and society," and stressed character development.

Modernizing Education in Uttarakhand

The Chief Minister pointed out that Uttarakhand was the first state to implement the National Education Policy 2020. He informed that 141 PM Shri Vidyalayas and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Schools are under construction.

Improving Infrastructure and Resources

He announced that 50 virtual classrooms have been set up across 13 districts and NCERT books are now mandatory in all schools. Additionally, meritorious students are receiving incentives between Rs 600 to Rs 1200, along with opportunities for educational tours across India.

The Chief Minister also highlighted a special education scheme launched for children who lost their parents due to disasters, epidemics, or accidents.

Strengthening Higher Education and Sports
