CM Dhami praises armed forces, PM Modi for Operation Sindoor's success

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami lauds Operation Sindoor as a strong message to terrorists and praises PM Modi's leadership during the Tiranga Samman Shaurya Yatra following the Pahalgam attack.

CM Dhami praises armed forces, PM Modi for Operation Sindoor's success

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday praised the Indian Armed Forces for their successful execution of Operation Sindoor and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for enabling a strong response to terrorism.

Addressing a gathering during the 'Tiranga Samman Shaurya Yaatra', CM Dhami said the operation had sent a clear message to those who threaten India's peace and dignity.

"Through Operation Sindoor, our armed forces under the leadership of PM Modi explained to the terrorists and their masters the consequences of eyeing the 'Sindoor' of India's daughters," CM Dhami said, highlighting the emotional and symbolic significance of the mission.

He saluted the armed forces for their bravery, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, and other security personnel involved in the operation. "I salute the valour, courage, and bravery of our Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, and the jawans of their security forces for Operation Sindoor's unprecedented success. I also thank PM Narendra Modi for his strong leadership and policies, which made this action against terrorism successful," he stated.

The chief minister also acknowledged the overwhelming public support, noting that the people's enthusiasm reflected a shared sense of pride in the nation’s armed forces. He said the terror attack in Pahalgam was intended to spark internal unrest, but instead, it led to a unified call for justice across the country.

"The terrorists' intention behind the Pahalgam attack was to incite riots in our country. But the whole country united in demanding action against this terror attack," Dhami said.

Highlighting the scale and impact of the military action, Dhami pointed out that the Indian forces struck deep into enemy territory, eliminating multiple terror hideouts and overcoming resistance from the Pakistani army.

"Under Operation Sindoor, our armed forces destroyed every single terrorist hideout in Pakistan by going inside their borders. The Pakistani army, which was acting as a shield for the terrorists these days, was also defeated by our brave soldiers. Pakistan has understood very well that every glance it takes towards India can lead to its destruction," he asserted.

The operation, carried out in the early hours of May 7, involved targeted strikes on nine terror locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

The BJP, as part of a wider public engagement campaign, has launched the 'Tiranga Yatra' across the country to pay tribute to the courage of Indian soldiers and raise awareness about the success of Operation Sindoor.
