The municipal corporation had declared the building unsafe, and it had been evacuated.

The collapse of a 4-storey building in Delhi was caught on camera on 5 December.
The building caved-in in north Delhi's Shastri Nagar. There was no loss of life as there was no one present inside the building.

It had been constructed a few months ago, but was found to be crooked, according to news reports. Subsequently, the municipal corporation (MCD) had declared the building unsafe, and it had been evacuated.

Following the collapse on 5 December, fire tenders and ambulances reached the site for emergency response.
