Ensure prompt resolution of complaints registered on the Jan Samvad portal, directs Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar reviewed the resolution of complaints filed on the Jan Samvad portal on Feb 6. During the meeting, he reviewed complaints received about the departments of Development and Panchayat, and Higher Education.

He directed officers to register complaints received in writing from the people during the Jan Samvad program on the Jan Samvad portal and resolve them promptly.

Reviewing these complaints, the Chief Minister said that most cases related to the Department of Development and Panchayat are associated with engineering works. Therefore, final-year civil engineering students from state universities and polytechnic institutes should be paired with junior engineers to assist in preparing estimates.

The Chief Minister was apprised that a list of junior engineers from departments closely involved in engineering works would be made available online for students, who can choose to work with a junior engineer within three days.

The Chief Minister emphasised the need for mapping of tasks and the preparation of categorised lists. The meeting also provided information that there are 23,364 development works listed by the Department of Development and Panchayat, 2370 by the Department of Public Health Engineering, and 1281 by the Urban Local Bodies Department.
