Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) organized a Parivartan Sabha today at Patibandhara in Uchchhal taluka of the Nizar Assembly constituency, drawing a large number of participants who joined the party.

MLA Chaitar Vasava was present at the event and participated in welcoming the new members.

Addressing the media, Vasava said that the Parivartan Sabha brought together elders, youth, women, cooperative leaders, retired employees, and residents from surrounding areas who decided to join the party. He emphasized that many decades-old issues in the region remain unresolved. These include concerns of Ukai displaced people, potential impacts of a proposed 1500 MW solar project, pending claims under the Forest Rights Act, 2006, as well as problems related to roads, drinking water, irrigation, education, and healthcare.

Vasava noted that despite 30 years of one-party rule by the BJP, these issues have not been adequately addressed. “People have now made up their minds that change will come in the coming days,” he said. He expressed confidence that the new members joining the party will actively participate in future efforts to bring about change.

The MLA said that in the upcoming elections for the Taluka Panchayat, District Panchayat, and municipalities, AAP would contest independently and unitedly. He expressed faith that residents of Kukarmunda, Nizar, and surrounding areas would support AAP candidates and work toward ensuring their victory.

Vasava reiterated that the newly joined members would play an active role in the party’s election campaigns, emphasizing that the event reflected the community’s desire for change. “We welcome all those who have joined the Aam Aadmi Party today,” he said, adding that these members would now work together to bring the party to power.

He further highlighted that decades of unresolved issues in the region, including displacement, environmental concerns, and infrastructure gaps, continue to impact local communities. The Parivartan Sabha was positioned as a platform to bring together people from diverse sections of society who are concerned about these long-standing challenges.
