The Haryana government has suspended mobile internet services, bulk SMS and dongle services in the wake of the ongoing farmers' protest

Farmers' protests: Haryana orders suspension of mobile internet in several districts till Feb 13

Mobile internet services have been suspended in several districts of Haryana in the wake of ongoing farmers' protests. The government has also ordered the shutdown of bulk SMS, and all dongle services, excluding voice calls.

The order will take effect on February 11 at 6 am till February 13 at 11.59 pm. The affected districts include Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa.

The order states that it is taking this step to prevent any disturbance of peace and public order.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha has announced the 'Delhi Chalo' march by more than 200 farmers' unions on February 13 to press the Centre for accepting their several demands, including enactment of a law to guarantee a minimum support price (MSP) for crops.
