It was a heartbreaking moment for a man in the UK, when he dropped his wedding ring in a household waste container, accidentally, on Valentine's Day.
James Ross was actually dropping off cardboard at the Hosuehold Waste Recycling Centre when his ring fell into the 10 ft pile of trash.
After speaking to one of the site operatives, the staff helped him retrieve the ring after about 20 minutes.
The entire incident was described by the North Tyneside Council on Facebook. The ring reportedly had Ross' wife's handwriting and the date they got married engraved on it.
